Making a Realtor® a Star:
Most realtors struggle with separating themselves from the herd. There are 20,000 realtors in Houston, Texas alone. This is probably typical of most large cities: a very large pool of realtors, most of whom go the typical route for advertising their services. Guylaine Belley wanted to do something different. The typical full page ad that showed 12 properties and a glamour shot of the realtor was not going to do it for her. She wanted something that said "I'm a professional and I'm different."
We began designing a marketing plan for Guylaine with this overarching concept: everybody's special. It's true. Everyone has talent and characteristics that no one else has---gifts that they use every day to do their work in a way that no one else can.
We began by writing Guylaine's bio, a one page document that was the cornerstone
of the bigger work we would eventually do for her. She had been a successful
realtor, but wanted to do more to fill the pipeline of business. Though
she is licensed to sell residential properties of any kind, she wanted
to focus primarily on golf course properties. So, we came up with a slogan
that tells her potential market that she is the expert on golf course properties:
"Driving You Home"
We then designed a Web site (drivingyouhome.net) that drives traffic to her and helps her begin a dialogue with potential clients. Lastly, we designed a slick, tri-fold brochure that tells Guylaine's clients what they need to know about her, and how her satisfied customers feel about her work with them.
She is delighted with our work and calls me often to let me know the positive impact that her marketing materials are having. We enjoyed this work greatly and are looking to do a few more projects like this, as time allows.
